Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was great. My sisters, parents, and brother all met and had a great time. I returned my brother home in exchange for HSSH to finish the weekend. We had to drive over the mountain which had lots of snow, oh so beautiful in the full moonlight.

On the way home BD had a migraine we gave him meds he slept all the way home. Upon arrival home BP, AC, and HSSH all came down with sore throats, coughs, stuffy noses, and ear aches. AC ended up with a perforated ear drum. Both teens have missed school. Such is life.

Happy Day!!

4 yr olds

Today I learned how nice it fells to comfort. My teens need a different kind of comfort not quiet as easy as a 4 yr old. 4yr old fell and had the wind knocked out of her. I went to comfort her. she snuggled in and cried. I could feel her relax and calm. Teens don't relax as well. I now know why I work with kids. they are what adds variety in life. Each age adds it's own special positives and negativities. But together they are memories and laughter that binds us together.

I am getting sleepy. And am not making since to my self. Off to bed nite!

Snooty Cat

Not much new from 4yr olds. But SC (snooty cat) has ear infections in both ears. I have to put drops in and clean out the crud. I was doing this the first time, she didn't scratch or bite me just shook her head, yowled , growled, and ran off under my bed, where she spent the next five hours. Every time I reached under to pet her she would growled, and moved away.

After the first time I then had a treat for her. things are much happier now.

1. mix boys and girls= poison
2. suburban + van= Grand
3. a spider on a mat can over take tumbling class
4. mom's feed you vinegar to make you sick
5. you can do anything just throw your self into it
6. there are boy hair cuts and girl haircuts anything longer than chin is girl anything shorter is boy
7. it is possible to put on 1/4th inch thick nail polish
8. and for a 4 yr old to put on said amount without getting on the floor
9. hugs makes everything better
10. the world is full of new possibilities

I'll learn more tomorrow and post a new 4yr old in the next week or so !

Sweet dreams

More 4yr. old

Yesterday 4 yr old tells me her mom has a Suburban and Mini van mixed. I said "What your mom has a Grand Caravan". Her response "Right when you mix a Suburban and a van you get a Grand."

Today while visiting a friend who has many cats, 4yr old asks if she can pet one of the cats, friend said sure then turned to me and says that she was taking her daughter and a few friends to sushi. 4 yr old asks "what is sushi like?" We said it was something to eat. With a horrified look 4 yr old says I don't want to eat sheshe kitty. We then explained that sushi was food not a cat. I then bought veggie sushi for lunch, 4yr old liked only the carrots.

The world sure looks different from a 4yr olds view. I truly look at everything different now. It's kind of refreshing.

Hope you have a happy day! I'm off to do gymnastics.

Four year old views

While sitting in the Dr. office waiting room there was a man who's hair was in a ponytail. The 4 year old "Why is he wearing his hair like that." I said "It is long enough to wear it that way." 4yr "OH!" A few minuets later another gentleman comes by with a ponytail. 4yr,"Why is his hair like that?" Me "Why do you wear your hair in a ponytail?" 4yr. "Cause I a girl and it is what girls wear there hair." Then a lady walks by, 4yr "That is a boys hair." the whole waiting room is now giggling. We thankfully were called at that time. This is a 4yr old I watch. I was at the Dr for BD's foot.

Yesterday 4yr and I were driving home and she was spelling words, "Boy is spelled l-k-e-d, girl is spelled f-r-c-a. When you mix boy with girl that is poison, and then you die!" Well I guess as a 4year old boys and girls would be poison.

Have a Happy Day:}

3 Teens

Today the teens were at each other. BD would stick his tongue out at AC and she would scream (yes scream) stop it. Which then BP would of course mimic this, and around it would go again. It didn't help that BD came home from the orthopedics (fracture in his foot) with a walking boot on and what a lot of noise he can make. It is end of quarter at school and everyone is rushing to finish undone assignments. Late night last night due to Oct.31 activities. My house was not to cheerful. I was even tempted to trade them with my sister for her whiny 2yr. old. I guess some day's just go like that. I love them any ways. AC did complete the dishes for me what a great surprise. AB had to be in a crate for 4 hr. then I had a clingy dog for the rest of the day. She has a few issues.

They are now all off to dreamland and the house is quiet. Night all.
