Pets

Tonight is bath night for our dog AB she is not so happy about it. AC was the one chosen to have the honor. AB figured out quickly and is hiding under the desk hoping I will rescue her. I was reading a blog earlier about odd pets. AC was our pet finder at age 2 a worm traveled 10mi. by public transit in her hand. Age 4 it was a large field mouse one of our dogs had caught. Age 6 a tree in our front yard had nuthatch holes in it she informed a 10 year boy(when he asked what the holes were) that they were where her pet bees lived. He never climbed the tree agian. She got what she wanted him out of her tree. Kids and animals what a mix. Has anyone eles had odd pets?

Odd Question

Here's an odd question,Why can guys with large chests (i.e man boobs) go with out shirts? We women who are made to have them and actually look good with them aren't. Even women with no chest can't go shirtless. Just a question I've been wondering about. I also think it's unjust!

New Year

Well today all 3 teens were off to high school. AC a little worried about how BD , BP would tease her. Her comment to them this morning was " If you see me today don't even act like you know me!!". They came home and informed me that the funniest thing happened all 3 have first lunch. They are all in the lunchroom together Uh oh what tragic things occurred? BD informed BP "You just leave AC alone let her be!" WOW huge steps. BP of course ignored him screamed at her and did a nerdy dance around her table of friends. Thank goodness they all know him and his issues.

They all seem happy with their classes and feel this year will be great. AC has acting class (just what we need more drama). BD has culinary as dose BP for different reasons, BD to become a chef (if he can keep from adding knuckle and finger tip skin to his dishes), BP to learn how to cook for himself when he is on his own. BP is happiest in his welding class, BD is also taking Childcare as a Career. I guess all in all it was a fairly good day. Oh yeah HSSH left for work and I had the house in total silence. Except the dog wanted to play the cat was not quiet as eager to play.Oh well.

Well today is not a perfect. How do you convince a teen boy that pants with holes are not school appropriate and for pants to fit properly they should be there to try them on. AC has decieded that a 1976 Station Wagon is to embarrassing of a car to be seen in. (HSSH had to use the acceptable truck for work.) One of her friends gets in the car a says" This is great the seats bounce and the doors are squshee." So I guess the car is not so bad AC still does not agree. Well one teen wants to go shopping yeah. He's the one who wants the 76 for his first car. I can please someone!

Start

This is my attempt at blogging. It is the first day in awhile that the only sounds I hear are passing cars and farm animals. School doesn't start for another week! There is a toddler down for a nap also BD is napping the rest of my summer troops are off to the mall. Normal troop number varies between 3-10. So I actually have time to sit, think and type.
I am sure enjoying the silence, I look out my window to a perfect view of foothill, farmland and a mountain. Animals grazing, the dog sleeping (a border collie) she seems to think all is well, the horses, goats and cows are all in the right spot, and no kids to keep track of. Oh and her ball is under her chin so it can"t escape. And the cats are basking in the warm sun. Today my life is perfect!
