Nice Day

Today was a beautiful day. I woke up there was a full moon, it silhouetted the mountain, bright stars in the sky. Later while driving to work the sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky, the air was brisk and clean, a lite frost on the fields, the mountain clear as ever, foot hills capped in snow, the farm animals with slightly shaggy coats not quiet winter but heavier then summer. It was a perfect scene. And I was on my way to teacher 3-5year olds tumbling one of my favorite groups to teach. How can I not see God in all that beauty?

Then the teens came home BD, and BP were in good moods. Bd had donated blood(he saved three lives) to him it was the high point of his month. BP had the house alone for 2hr while BD and I finished his job. BP was happy to have "alone" time. AC went to a friends house then to the football game last one of the season. BP also went they lost. I guess then everyone was tired cause my perfect day ended. And teen reality began ....

Fun

Tonight I helped host a Fall Gathering for our church kids. Many of the church kids plus many other friends came. What a blast candy, games, and renting a bouncy house was the greatest money we have spent, it was worth every penny. Even a few adults jumped in it. a social gathering seem to be a good refreshing thing for people after a week of wind and rain.

Anyone know where to find the high beams on a 1976 station wagon? I found out tonight.

Dance

Last week was Homecoming dance for the teens. Two went BD rented a tux, bought a corsage , paid for pictures , asked 10-12 girls before a friend said yes. Gotta hand it to the boy he didn't give up or take any rejection. He had a great time.

AL went stag a group of friends were supposed to meet her there no one showed, so she ran into a person she had met 2 weeks ago they had a great time, and she has a new friend.

BP missed out he just didn't want to go. I think after the rave reviews given by AC, and BD he will be going to the next dance.

AB has agian worn a path around our friends chicken pen. They move it every couple of weeks. Our cats just won't stay where AB thinks they should be. The cats fight back the chickens don't.

Vent

Why is it that only the Mom can see clutter? Or that the bathroom could use a touch? There are leaves in the yard and the dishwasher is full? This week I was sick and then had to catch up with the extra jobs. My family I guess was on vacation cause no one else cleaned; but wait where did the mess come from??? I guess it's the person who's mail we get Guadalupe Santos.

Why is it that the Mom is the one who can put a meal together? Or has to drop everything to take a teen wherever they want to go or be picked up from?

I know it is all part of the title, Sometimes a thanks maybe even a smile. If they could just skip the change in attitude when they enter the car after the friend is gone. I love being mom just want them to notice:}
